From the Tumble & Hide Italian Vegetale* collection; an exemplary Italian Leather shoulder bag. Without ostentation, this elegant and classic design is immensely practical. The flap of the bag is secured by a strong magnetic clasp closure. On the inside there are three main compartments. The middle compartment is plain and secured with a zip fastener. The rear compartment features a large zipped slip pocket and the front compartment has 2 slip pockets for phone, pens or other accessories and a leather key tab. A further slip pocket is available on the front of the bag and there is a large zipped pocket on the exterior. The adjustable leather shoulder strap has a length of up to 130 cm (providing drop of approx. 60cm). The bag is fully lined and comes with a Tumble & Hide dust bag.

Vegetable tanning is a tradition that members of the Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium have practised for over 200 years. The transformation from raw hides into a durable material is a slow process that takes place in wooden drums using natural tannins extracted from chestnut or Argentinean quebracho trees. Using both antique recipes and state-of-the-art technology nearly forty days are needed to transform raw hides into unique vegetable-tanned leathers. The result is a material that ages without spoiling or compromising its durability and that gains a vintage feel with the warm colour shades and patina of a natural product.
